Greg
Kasza has nearly 30 years of experience as a scientist and
consultant to projects across the Western USA involving
environmental investigations, site remediation, mine
engineering, drilling, and heavy construction. Greg has
served as a project lead on several site characterization projects that
required extensive research into past operational practices at
nuclear facilities, collection of contaminated soil and
groundwater samples, and analysis of contaminant-groundwater
interactions. Greg has performed project planning, preparation
of contractor descriptions of work and bid documents, and field
supervision to characterization and cleanup activities at a
variety of hydrocarbon and radionuclide contaminated sites. He
is knowledgeable of drilling and soil sampling technologies, has
prepared sampling and analysis plans, and is an experienced wellsite geologist. Greg is trained to work in beryllium
contaminated facilities, and in hazardous and radioactive
conditions. In addition, he has graduate education and
experience in industrial hygiene and performs air quality and
chemical exposure investigations, and assessments of
environmental safety and health issues for small employers and
industry.
