Jeff
Fetters –
Geologist
Jeff
is a geologist specializing in environmental characterization.
He is experienced in the use of Geographic Information Systems
(GIS), remote sensing software, and Trimble surveying equipment.
He is trained to perform field work in hazardous and
radioactive conditions. Jeff has wellsite geology experience
with construction of shallow pump and treat wells using Becker
Hammer drilling methods, and with collection of vadose and
aquifer sediment samples while installing monitoring wells using
both air and mud rotary drill rigs. He has experience with
performing watershed geomorphology surveys. Jeff also served as
an Incident Command System division lead of the St. Tammany
Parish Household Hazardous Waste recovery team, for the EPA
region 6 Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. This involved
mapping, identification and removal of hazardous materials on a
large scale and wide variety of situations.
