Software Project Lead/Engineer
Brianne Connolly works with NOAA’s Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R) Emergency Response Division team in Seattle. She supports the team working on development of several software programs in CAMEO, a software suite designed for emergency responders and planners dealing with chemical spills. CAMEO includes a hazard modeling application, a database of thousands of chemical datasheets with response recommendations and a reactivity prediction, a mapping program, and a data management platform. Local information is entered to develop incident scenarios to better prepare for chemical emergencies. Brianne serves as Project Lead and User Experience (UX) Specialist, offering skills in project management, strategic planning, user interface/website design, software user documentation development, software development and testing, document design and layout, technical writing and editing, graphic design, and outreach.
