Resource management, habitat conservation, and sustainability are key objectives of our NOAA Support Services Contract.

Freestone has helped develop regional strategic action plans for NOAA’s Marine Debris Program in Hawaii and the Great Lakes. We have assisted in tasks ranging from developing methods to assess marine debris density in pelagic surface waters to creating visual survey programs with internal and external partners. Our employees plan and implement innovative programs to engage local communities and work with local collaborators to increase coastal resiliency, particularly during non-emergency events.
